Unfortunately, the Trustees of the Suffolk Punch Trust have decided to close the visitor centre, due I believe to finance to keep it open, as some of you know the rally is held in the grounds of the visitor centre and we have been advised that it cannot be run.The Marshals of the rally are very sorry it has had to be cancelled, but it is out of our control, and we take this opportunity to thank the ralliers who have supported us on the Suffolk Punch Trust rallies over several years.This also impacts the Division Question Time event, being run within the visitor centre.The Division Chair and myself have travelled to alternate venues to try to rescue the situation, but have been unable to secure a suitable venue, to fit the dates, Q/T Hall, attractions and rally space required, and in consultation with the Caravan and Motorhome Club HQ it has been confirmed that this year’s event is cancelled,...

It is with deep sadness that we have  to let members know of Brian Southgate's passing last Saturday. Brian rallied for many years with Anthea and his family and went on to be Chairman too. It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the recent passing of Ken Cribb. Ken and Mary rallied with Suffolk Centre on many occasions over the years. Details of Ken’s funeral can be found on the South Essex CAMC website, and is taking place on 13th January at noon. Ken and Mary relocated from Hallowtree to Basildon March 2025. The 2026 rally book is now on its way! Look out for its arrival soon via your chosen method (PDFs are out now others may take a week or so). If you receive replacement inserts by post then simply look at the bottom of the pages and it will indicate which section it replaces for your existing book. Simply remove section A and replace it with the new Section A for 2026 etc. If you have not received an electronic copy and expected to please check it is not in Junk, you have the correct email address registered with the CAMC and that your membership to the Suffolk Centre is still active. The bookings for Thorpeness 2026, will be opening this coming Friday 14th November. Those who attended last year will automatically be sent, via email, a booking form for this year on Friday. If you do not appear to receive an email by the end of Friday, then please check any spam folders in case it drops in there.
