Own sanitation essential.  \nDOG OWNERS:  Can we politely request that any dogs brought to the rally are kept on lead when outside any unit.  They must be walked for exercise or “other” strictly off site\, please do your best that they don’t foul the area we are sited on. Racehorses are often exercised alongside the rally area\, please do not approach with dogs. Thank you. \nFLAGS/LIGHTS: We ask members not to put up flags or flashing light poles as young nervous horses do come down past the site. After approx. 4 miles turn left onto the B1353 sp Thorpeness and SCCC rally signs to site.\n\n\nServices:\nOwn sanitation essential. No electric hook-up on site\, use only 12v electrics\, shops\, café\, antiques\, pubs and boating lake in the village.  Other shops and supermarkets can be found in the Aldeburgh 2 miles away or Leiston 4 miles away. Rally co-incides with Aldeburgh Carnival and the Thorpeness Regatta and Fireworks.  \n\n\nProgramme:\nWonderful beach and heathland\, walk to Minsmere (6 miles). Marquee on site planned with entertainment all week to include cheesy bingo\, quiz night\, cinema night and live band. Loads of entertainment for the children too with sports day\, crafts\, tie dying (bring white cottons to dye) and a bouncy castle. Yarmouth to North Walsham) at TESCO\, into Old Market Road\, signposted Lessingham. Follow signs to Lessingham. DO NOT turn left at Signpost for Brumstead! Follow SCCC signs from here. Immediately after The Swan Inn at Ingham follow the road round to the right – BEWARE at this point the Lessingham signposts and Satnav will send you straight ahead (actually a left turn) – you can go this way but the road narrows part way along – it is safer to follow the road to the right after The Swan & follow Lessingham signposts from there. \nOn reaching the Lessingham Village sign continue past ‘Grange Farm CL’ on your left\, then take next left into School Road\, signposted ‘Church and Village Hall’. The Star Inn is on the left after approx. 500mts. On reaching the pub\, turn left into its car park\, which is immediately before it. Follow SCCC signs.
